How to use
Enter the item price a shopper would pay, your product cost, and the fee rates you want to stress-test. Merqly starts with dated planning defaults you can change; it does not pull live Seller Central rates.
Review the fee stack and the remaining net after cost. Use the result to compare size tiers, price points, or ads spend before you commit inventory — then confirm numbers in Amazon’s own tools before listing.
How the numbers work
- Referral fee ≈ selling price × referral rate (editable planning default).
- Fulfillment fee is a flat planning amount per unit (size/weight tier you choose).
- Monthly storage ≈ cubic feet × storage rate for the planning month.
- Optional other fees (inbound, removals, ads) are added as entered.
- Net profit ≈ price − product cost − referral − fulfillment − storage − other.
- Rates change; this is not Amazon’s official fee calculator or legal advice.
FAQ
Does this use Amazon’s live fee schedule?
No. Values are editable planning defaults. Always verify referral, FBA fulfillment, and storage in Seller Central or Amazon’s fee preview before buying inventory.
Should I include PPC or coupons?
Yes — put ad spend, coupons, or promotions in the other-fees field so net profit reflects what you actually keep after promotions.
Why might my result differ from Seller Central?
Size tier, category referral caps, peak storage months, and inbound placement all shift fees. Treat Merqly as a quick model, then reconcile with Amazon’s official estimate.
